Best dive sites in New Zealand

Fitting for womens dive day our very own Simone was able to speak about why Milford Sound is her favourite dive site in this NZ Herald Article. The article names 4 other top scuba diving ladies of the New Zealand dive industry who showcase which dive sites rock their boat.

Womens Dive Day 2020

Womens dive day is celebrated today around the world. It is about sharing stories, sharing the passion and sharing the love that we hold for the ocean. When you love something you naturally care for it and this brings ocean conservation efforts to the foreground.

PADI womens dive day has been set up to build a strong community which encourages male and females alike to be torchbearers to explore and protect the ocean.

Those who have been out diving with us on our tours know that we care deeply for Milford Sound and its underwater creatures. We have always advocated a voluntary no-take policy of any life, marine reserve or not, in order to not take a single life from the beautiful environment we love so much.

Milford Sound

Milford Sound deserves to be at the very top of the list of best dive sites in New Zealand as it is very fascinating with its entirely unique ecosystem and deepwater emergence phenomenon. Not only has it the most incredible and majestic top side scenery, but also hosting the largest concentration of black coral colonies in the world. These and a variety of other deepwater and open ocean species makes Milford Sound one of the top dive sites of New Zealand if not the world.
